What is Veterinary Oncology?

Veterinary Oncology is the field of veterinary medicine that focuses on treatment of animals with cancer. A veterinary oncologist can help with the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of cancers, tumors, masses, and secondary symptoms of cancer that your pet may be experiencing.

Our Veterinary Oncologists are highly-trained specialists who have all undergone an additional 5 years of study after completing their veterinary degree. In addition to 4 years of veterinary school, our doctors rotate through internships and residencies focusing on all aspects of cancer treatment before receiving their accreditation. If applicable: Our team here focuses on treating cancers in dogs and cats. Learn more about our compassionate and qualified care team below.
