The Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (NIVES) is an AAHA-accredited and Level II VECCS-certified hospital. NIVES serves the tri-state region of NE Indiana, SE Michigan, and NW Ohio. In addition to our critical care services, our hospital has a team of board-certified veterinarians specializing in Internal Medicine, Small Animal Surgery, and Cardiology.
Our hospital features state-of-the-art equipment for fast and reliable diagnostic testing including digital radiography, CT imaging, ultrasonography, and endoscopy in addition to our in-house laboratory. We offer advanced treatments, such as blood and plasma transfusions, with a fully staffed intensive care unit to provide 24-hour care for critical patients.

NIVES frequently hosts externs and interns to help train the next generation of veterinary professionals. Candidates will recieve onsite training and work alongside seasoned staff to practice progressive medicine and excellent client services.
